Seed vigor is an important trait for tobacco production. However, the evaluation of seed using molecular biomarkers scarcely reported in tobacco. In this study, development marker isopropylmalate synthase NtIPMS was conducted to detect ageing degree and priming effect Quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR) analysis showed that expression significantly induced at initial imbibition stage during germination.
